Celebrating The Biggest Impact Highlights of 2025

Written by The Love Justice Team | Dec 30, 2025 12:00:01 PM

Our hearts are full of gratitude as the year comes to a close.

The past few years have been full of exponential growth for Love Justice, and while we’re still growing at a rapid pace, 2025 was marked more by strengthening and refinement. Stations closed and reopened stronger than before, teams adapted through challenges, and individual stories spoke louder than raw numbers. It was a year defined not just by how far we expanded, but by how deeply we grew. And through it all, lives continued to change. Below are some of the impact highlights that shaped this remarkable year.

INTERCEPTIONS

  • Our teams around the world intercepted 26,822 people to prevent them from being trafficked. That’s about a 30% increase over last year! Read some of their stories.
  • In February, we hit our most impactful month yet with 2,997 intercepts.
  • In November, we hit a record 100,000 intercepts since beginning our transit monitoring work in 2006.

  • Our impact on the dollar dropped from $132 to $112, meaning that we’ve continued to hone and refine our strategy to achieve the most impact possible with each dollar. That number may increase as we pivot to focus on more expansion, but our commitment to efficiency remains the same.

ARRESTS

  • Our teams around the world assisted in arresting 344 suspects, working with law enforcement to ensure that traffickers face consequences for their crimes. That’s a 41% increase compared to last year!
  • This year, we crossed the threshold of 2,000 total arrests since beginning our work.

EXPANSIONS

  • This year we opened eight new stations in Senegal, India, Lesotho, Nepal, and South Africa.
  • When a rebel group violently took over the DRC just one week before we planned to open a transit monitoring station there, we pivoted to provide relief for families affected. With the help of local partners, we supplied 150 families with food, installed two clean water stations, and supported 50 women through business training and microloans to earn income during the crisis.
  • Though we had to close our station in Lesotho for a few months, the team reopened stronger than ever, rising in October to become one of our top-performing countries alongside Uganda and Kenya.
  • Several other countries expanded their impact and hit new records this year. Namibia, Nepal, and Zambia all hit record high numbers as their teams worked hard to intercept people at risk of human trafficking. Notably, Kenya hit a record 1,303 intercepts in February.
  • As we’ve expanded spiritual care and discipleship for our teams, their gospel-sharing fruit has also increased. This past year, 1,102 people professed faith in Christ after hearing the gospel from our teams.
  • Supporters like you also rallied others to give. We had a record $22,150 raised through personal fundraisers on our peer-to-peer platform! Check out this 8th-grade class’ fundraiser.

OUR SCHOOL

  • This year, our school taught 232 children in South Asia, both from our family homes and from the local community.
  • An external review process awarded the school a 4-star rating overall, including 5 stars for excellent teaching!
  • Kids continued to thrive and grow in creativity through events like Spirit Week, Splash Day, after school clubs, field trips, and camps.

FAMILY HOMES

  • Our Family Homes Program cared for a total of 169 orphaned and abandoned children across 14 homes.
  • Within that total, the transition program cared for 72 young adults between 11th grade and their 4th year of a bachelor’s program or vocational school equivalent, offering guidance and support as they transition into adulthood.
  • Seven students successfully graduated from our program, meaning that they have earned a bachelor’s degree or vocational certificate, live independently on their own, and no longer receive any financial support from LJI. This brings the total number of graduates to 32! Meet one of them here.

Grow with us

No one person could do all of this on their own. It takes a village … or in this case, a large global community working, giving, supporting, and praying together. It’s a ripple effect that builds and grows over time. Thank you for being a part of this fight for justice!

As we move into the next year and prepare to continue growing, we’d love to invite you to grow with us. What’s the next step for you in this fight for justice?

Maybe it’s committing to pray or spread awareness, or host your own fundraiser next year.

Maybe it’s becoming a monthly giver to sustain more long-term impact, increasing your regular gift to protect more lives, or simply deciding to give for the first time.

Maybe it’s following our work through social media or subscribing to emails to stay up to date on what’s happening.

Whatever it may be, we’re grateful to have you in our community and grateful to celebrate these wins with you as we prepare for the year ahead.
