Julius-Lutalo Kiyingi
Regional Steward East Africa & Malawi
Julius-Lutalo Kiyingi joined Love Justice International in 2018 as a project manager in Uganda. Julius brought with him extensive experience from working with other NGOs in areas ranging from transitional justice to refugees, with the latter experience being the foundation for his dedicated work to fight human trafficking. Julius is very passionate about human rights, social justice issues, and giving a voice to the voiceless. He shares, "The reason why I do this work is simple: to put a human face to the indignity of human trafficking. In Uganda, and many countries in the region, so many victims and potential victims are lured, deceived, and trapped in situations they never intended or imagined. Many of these are young children, many of them from poor rural families—the invisible children we as a society have chosen to ignore for too long. My job is to break that cycle and shed light on one of the world’s greatest injustices.” Contact Julius.
Anneke
Student Wellness Lead and Teacher Coach
Anneke grew up in the Western Cape, South Africa, in the beautiful, fruit-producing Boland Valley. As a little girl, being part of a farming family, she was deeply troubled by the suffering of those working in the fields. Anneke remembers observing social norms that troubled her and questioning a lifestyle enforced by the majority. Alcohol abuse, extreme poverty, and broken families were part of a society that had more than enough. Unjust practices, with good intentions, were the norm. People on either side of the socioeconomic spectrum were born into circumstances they could not change. Because of these early childhood memories, Anneke has maintained a strong, inner motivation to empower God’s children, no matter who they are. Her overall career path, whether in business, training, or teaching, reflects this inner being. Anneke spent her entire adult life fostering the growth of others so that they might reach the capacity God gifted them with. In 2017, Anneke trekked the Himalayas for nearly three months, during which time she developed a lasting love for Nepal and the Nepalese people. She particularly admired their simple lifestyle despite their extreme physical conditions. In the cities, the challenges of less fortunate children and their families were equally disturbing, bringing those memories of her childhood in the Boland Valley flooding back. Even though she left Nepal after her trek, the experiences and memories stayed fresh in her mind. Now, seven years later, Anneke feels God urging her to go back to Nepal, this time to serve the people who made such an impression on her back in 2017. Anneke intends to teach at Love Justice International’s Dream School, which is situated just outside Pokhara, to empower the youth of South Asia for many years to come and to give back to the people who stole her heart.
Brad and Rachel Wells
Brad and Rachel met in their senior year at Iowa State University when they both joined a ministry that shares the love of Jesus with international students. Brad majored in software engineering. Rachel majored in global resource systems, and was (and still is) deeply interested in anti-trafficking work. After graduating and moving to Omaha, Nebraska, in 2015, Brad found work as a corporate software developer while Rachel served refugees in the area at a nonprofit. As they discussed marriage, they decided together that Brad would continue his corporate work for five years, and then they would move overseas. In those five years, they got married, traveled, had a daughter (Petra, born in 2019), and Rachel switched to another nonprofit. In early 2020, with the five-year mark approaching, Brad Googled “Christian software company.” Within a day, by God’s grace, Rachel and Brad were in contact with LJI, who could use both Brad’s technical skills and also Rachel’s management skills and God-given passion to fight one of the world’s greatest injustices. After applying and starting to plan, COVID hit, and everything got turned upside down! Click here to give to support the Wells. Contact Brad. Contact Rachel.

Nikki Still
International Spiritual Director
Executive Chairperson South Africa
Nikki grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and studied business science marketing at the University of Cape Town. It was there that she was saved. After working in investment banking, marketing, and then in a social venture capital firm that was aimed at creating jobs for low-skilled workers, she fell ill with chronic fatigue syndrome and was forced to stop working. It was during this time that God started stirring in her the dream of fighting for victims of human trafficking. Despite having no experience in the field, no energy, and no funds, she laid herself down at the incredible resources of Jesus and prayed. God led her to Love Justice and their model of intervention before trafficking could occur, and together they piloted the first operation in South Africa. Their first intercept changed so many things for her; it made her realize that it is truly in our weakness that He is made strong, and that He is able to do much with those who are willing to follow the call to love others. Contact Nikki.
Nick Wilson

They are passionate about LJI's mission to call the Church to love justice; to connect the Word of the kingdom (the gospel) with the work of the kingdom (mercy and justice). Nick uses his software engineering skills to help build and maintain LJI's software tools to maximize LJI's kingdom impact. Contact Nick. Click here to give to support Nick and Siana.

She is the oldest of four children, grew up in a multicultural home, and speaks fluent Spanish. Today, Cecilia lives in Essex, Connecticut, with her husband, Jim, and their dog, Charlie. During that time, she focused on raising her children and building a career in data analytics, working in various roles across several organizations. Until recently, she served as an assistant professor at the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business, teaching business analytics.
