This Month's Prayer Points and Updates
- Praise Report: Praise God for 102 gospel professions last month. We ask that He would establish them in gospel communities, protect and nurture their fledgling faith, and that they would become oaks of righteousness and blessing, sharing what they have received with others.
- Praying Toward 450 Arrests: With five months remaining, we are 80% of the way to our goal of 450 trafficker arrests this year—praise God for 48 arrests last month and 2,019 lives saved from trafficking or high-risk situations. One arrest that results in a conviction can save many lives and increase the risk to traffickers, making them think twice about exploiting others. Please pray for our police liaison officers who work to find traffickers, collect evidence, and support police and prosecutors in bringing traffickers to justice.
- Hiring the Right People: Please pray as we begin screening interviews for our Director of Foundation Relationships position and continue searching for French-speaking anti-trafficking field officers. Pray that God brings the right candidates with hearts for Christ, a passion for our mission, and the experience to serve effectively. Also pray for wisdom and discernment for our hiring team throughout the process.
- Argentina & Colombia Pilots Launch: After many months of prayer, planning, and partnership building, our newest pilot projects are launching in Argentina and Bogotá, Colombia. Colombia has just passed significant new anti-trafficking legislation. The country champion, Danitza, and local partners have been involved in advocating for and contributing to this process, making the timing especially encouraging as the pilot begins. Please pray for strong partnerships with authorities, wisdom and favor as the teams begin monitoring, and for many vulnerable people to be protected from trafficking, traffickers brought to justice, and lives transformed by Jesus.
- New Station Launch in Senegal Leads to Breakthrough in Seven-Year Investigation: A new monitoring location in southern Senegal launched last month, with the team intercepting four potential victims in their first week. One case has developed into a significant investigation—police have been trying to arrest a suspect for seven years without a victim willing to testify. The team has been asked to extend their stay in Bignona to support the investigation, assist the victim, and help with translation as they work toward his arrest.
- Transit Monitoring Work in Indonesia: Please hold the team's transit monitoring work at a sea port and airport in your prayers. May was quiet on the interception front—the team conducted interviews but found no indicators of trafficking, and overall movement through the monitoring sites was lower than usual. But a quiet month doesn't mean the threat has disappeared; it calls for greater vigilance, not less. Pray for sharp discernment and sustained energy as the team keeps watch. Please also pray for Vanrio and Gerson, two new monitors wrapping up their probationary period and stepping into frontline work for the first time. Pray for confidence, wisdom, and a strong sense of calling as they begin this vital service.
- Strong Start for the Guinea Pilot and Growing Community Engagement: The new transit monitoring pilot in Guinea has made an encouraging start, with the team intercepting their first potential victim on the first day of monitoring. The team is also working to raise awareness of human trafficking at key transit locations, building relationships with transport workers and local stakeholders, and developing a growing network of informants and high-value contacts. The local church is actively supporting the pilot through prayer, encouragement, and oversight.
- Web Transit Monitoring: We ask the Lord to bless and increase our ability to identify fake advertisements on social media and reach out to those who could be caught in their webs to warn them. Pray we would grow in efficiency and be able to scale the work to protect more lives.
- Empowerment Pilot: We recently launched an empowerment program aimed at lifting people out of poverty through personalized tracks that help participants uncover how God has uniquely gifted them to contribute to the world, their family, and the kingdom of God. The program focuses on mindset changes and habit development, utilizing the power of community and accountability to help participants discover "what is in their hand" and how it can support them. Please pray for breakthroughs in each person's life in the areas of mindset, finances, and provision.

You can read the prayers associated with each heading, or you can pray into the headings as you feel led. In the prayer guide, each heading prays through specific Scripture passages (highlighted in italics), giving us confidence that what we ask for is in line with the will of God.
