We believe that prayer plays a major role in the eradication of injustice, and we invite you to commit to pray with us.
This Month's Prayer Points and Updates
- Prayer for Convictions and Arrests: We need prayer for the systems of justice in the countries where we operate so that traffickers can be convicted and justice served. Many countries lack capacity in both the police and court systems, which allows many criminals to operate with impunity. Last month, we saw 32 arrests—please join us in asking God for more!
- Gospel Advancement: We ask the Lord to raise up passionate individuals whose love for Jesus overflows into sharing the gospel with those who don’t know Him. Last month, 64 people professed faith in Christ, with many more hearing the message. Pray that the Lord would continue to water those seeds so they may come to know the beauty of being forgiven and walking in right relationship with God.
- South Asia: Despite significant changes in local leadership, the team in Nepal continues to operate at a high level, recording 175 interceptions and four arrests last month. Please pray for favor in upcoming meetings with local authorities and for continued influence in the justice space as more survivors and communities seek help. In India, despite ongoing restructuring, the team carried out dozens of interceptions across several locations and is now implementing new strategies—such as expanded border surveillance and river monitoring—to reach more potential victims. Pray for wisdom as they strengthen local partnerships and adapt to change. In Bangladesh, the team recorded 64 interceptions amid continued pressure, but saw encouraging cooperation from local authorities. Pray for endurance and open doors for gospel impact.
- Goma Relief Reaches 100 Families: On May 30, our partners in Goma distributed full food kits to 100 households in desperate need. The city has been under siege from rebel groups, leading to widespread displacement and hardship. The distribution ran smoothly, with strong support from local leaders and well-managed onsite security. Many recipients expressed deep gratitude—some even danced for joy. We thank God for His provision and the joy it brought. Please continue praying for Goma: for peace, healing, protection, and provision.
- East Africa: In Kenya, the team intercepted 474 individuals last month—most of them minors. While welcoming new hires, they are also mourning the loss of a beloved founding staff member. Please pray for deep comfort, renewed strength, and gospel fruit. Uganda recorded 381 interceptions, seven arrests, and nine gospel professions—pray for strong follow-up and momentum in disciple-making. In Rwanda, despite heavy rains, 72 individuals were intercepted and 11 professed faith in Christ. The team recently completed an in-depth gospel training and is walking forward with renewed boldness; pray for continued courage and fruitfulness.
- Southern Africa: In Malawi, 132 individuals were intercepted, though the team continues to face staffing and financial challenges. One serious case involving a trafficked minor required emergency care—pray for provision and protection. Zambia reported 192 interceptions, with teams in Lusaka, Chipata, and Nakonde adapting strategies to seasonal trafficking patterns. South Africa recorded 72 interceptions, as traffickers have begun shifting tactics in response to our presence. Namibia’s small but faithful team recorded 150 interceptions, while Mozambique intercepted 102 individuals despite limited resources. In Lesotho, the team is restarting operations after a pause due to U.S. funding changes. Please pray for renewed momentum and strength across these regions.

Looking to go deeper?
We have developed both a prayer list and a prayer card to guide you in your prayers for our work. Both resources are a perfect tool to print and use during your prayer times. The prayer guide and the prayer card below are organized into specific headings that outline the key areas we constantly need assistance in. You can read the prayers associated with each heading, or you can pray into the headings as you feel led. In the prayer guide, each heading prays through specific Scripture passages (highlighted in italics), giving us confidence that what we ask for is in line with the will of God.
