We believe that prayer plays a major role in the eradication of injustice, and we invite you to commit to pray with us.
This Month's Prayer Points and Updates
- Arrest in Liberia: Praise God for a major breakthrough in Monrovia, where our police liaison helped rescue five survivors who were trafficked under false promises of jobs and scholarships abroad. They were taken to Sierra Leone, confined, exploited, and robbed of over $8,000. Within 48 hours, two traffickers were arrested across the border with help from local police and INTERPOL, then extradited to Liberia, where they now await trial. One suspect remains at large. Please pray for healing for the survivors, strength for our team, the swift arrest of the final suspect, and for justice to be carried out without delay. “The Lord sets prisoners free.” —Psalm 146:7
- Vocational Training in Nepal: Pray for a young woman recently rescued from a massage parlor by our team in Kathmandu as she begins beauty parlor training. Ask God to bless this opportunity with lasting impact—equipping her with the skills, confidence, and income needed to care for herself and her younger siblings. Also pray for strong partnerships with NGOs across all our countries, so more survivors and at-risk individuals can access training and opportunities for sustainable independence.
- Cases in Court: Please pray for multiple ongoing and upcoming legal cases across our work as we pursue justice against traffickers. In Nepal, one survivor is scheduled to give her second court statement in early August; please pray for courage, protection, and freedom from intimidation by traffickers or their families. Other cases are also awaiting trial, and we ask for God’s favor, strength, and presence for everyone involved. Pray for justice to prevail and for truth to be clearly seen through every testimony.
- Hiring Major Gift Officer: Please pray for wisdom and discernment as we seek the right person for our Major Gifts Officer role. Ask God to lead us to someone who shares our mission, brings passion and integrity, and can help advance our work in a meaningful way. May His will be done throughout the hiring process.
- Fiscal Year-End: As we enter the final three months of our fiscal year, we ask for your prayers that our fundraising efforts will be fruitful and impactful. Please pray for open hearts, generous support, and God’s provision to meet our financial goals. May every gift be multiplied to further the mission and bring lasting change. We trust in His faithfulness to provide.
- Upcoming Pilot in India: Please pray for the pilot project launching in August in northwest India. Pray for thorough preparation, effective coordination, and impactful outcomes as the work begins.
- Arrest and Conviction in Namibia: Praise God for two encouraging breakthroughs from our Namibia team. One trafficking case involving four Ethiopian individuals intercepted en route to South Africa resulted in an 11-year conviction. In a separate case, an 11-year-old girl being forced to work in abusive conditions as a domestic worker was rescued and placed in a safe home, and an arrest was made. We thank God for these powerful testimonies—may He continue what He has started.

Looking to go deeper?
We have developed both a prayer list and a prayer card to guide you in your prayers for our work. Both resources are a perfect tool to print and use during your prayer times. The prayer guide and the prayer card below are organized into specific headings that outline the key areas we constantly need assistance in. You can read the prayers associated with each heading, or you can pray into the headings as you feel led. In the prayer guide, each heading prays through specific Scripture passages (highlighted in italics), giving us confidence that what we ask for is in line with the will of God.
