Brad and Rachel Wells

Brad and Rachel met in their senior year at Iowa State University while serving in a ministry that shares the love of Jesus with international students. Brad was majoring in software engineering, and Rachel was studying global resource systems. Rachel, who had learned about human trafficking from a friend, shared her passion for the cause with Brad. After graduating and moving to Omaha, Nebraska, in 2015, Brad worked as a corporate software developer while Rachel served refugees at a nonprofit. They got married in 2016. In early 2020, they felt called to go abroad to fight human trafficking. Brad Googled “Christian software company” and contacted a company he found in Denver. They put him in touch with LJI. In August 2021, Brad, Rachel, and Petra moved to Nepal, and then transitioned with the new headquarters to South Africa in September 2023. They are so grateful for the opportunity to use their skills to make a tangible difference in the fight against the world's greatest injustices!
