Robin Hood at The Dream School

Before The Dream School closed because of COVID-19 mandates, we were able to host our first-ever school play, Robin Hood: The Dress Rehearsal. Based on the book written by Howard Pyle, the play was written and directed by our amazing Dream School teachers. The students worked really hard, and the entire community came together to make it happen. The night of the performance was truly magical! It was amazing to see how many students grew into their roles and gained many valuable life skills throughout the process. Read more about it on the blog here.

We often communicate the fact that the goal of our family homes and our Dream School is to raise up children who become difference makers and influencers in their communities and countries. At times, this can be a challenge when you consider the numerous factors that go into childhood development and the process of becoming healthy, confident adults.

We firmly believe that in addition to being raised in a home with a strong family unit, one of the most important influences in a child’s life is their education. The Dream School creates an environment where children can truly thrive and where their hearts have the opportunity to be filled with wonder.

The Power of Education

We believe in the life-changing impact of education for our children. We seek to fight injustice and to help children realize their dreams by fostering an environment where they can become all they were created to be. Founded on the core values of love, excellence, and wisdom, our Dream School provides the best education possible for our students.

Continued growth: We believe a world-class education provides endless opportunities. Since the onset of our Dream School in April 2015, we continue to grow and learn about the different challenges facing each student. For this reason, the Children's Home Academic Intervention program was developed. This is a specific curriculum created to tutor children who are experiencing learning gaps, specifically in math and reading. This effective program allows our staff members to work with students in need of extra guidance after school and during school breaks. We are hopeful that this one-on-one time will build confidence and establish a stronger foundational understanding for kids who are struggling in school.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble."
—Psalm 46:1
