Abigail Benz

Abigail grew up in a military family and moved around when she was younger. She has lived in four states but considers Atlanta, Georgia, her home. During her junior year of high school, she learned about modern-day slavery through the One Billion Rising Movement. After attending the event on Valentine’s Day, she became passionate about eradicating human trafficking. Abigail is a junior at Auburn University pursuing her bachelor’s degree in global studies with international and Italian minors. She plans to attend law school and then work to end modern-day slavery and inequality for women, as well as girls. Abigail loves volunteering with children, reading, photography, animals, and spending time with the ones she loves. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and yoga. Abigail is so excited and joyful to spend the summer in Nepal with Love Justice and is thankful to the Lord for guiding her toward this opportunity.
