As 2024 comes to a close, we give thanks to God for the remarkable work He has done in and through our organization. He has provided through every donor and partner, protected staff in various countries in the midst of natural disasters and political instability, opened new doors for impact, and so much more!
We said this last year but yet AGAIN, this year has been marked by exponential growth! And not only that, but we are starting to see real change resulting from our work in the countries we operate in (more on that to come!).
If you’ve been a part of the Love Justice family in any way, whether as staff, volunteer, donor, prayer warrior, or supporter, let us say a big THANK YOU. We want to celebrate the achievements of this past year together!
INTERCEPTIONS
- Our teams around the world intercepted 20,666 individuals this past year to prevent them from being trafficked. That’s a 31% increase over last year! Read some of their stories.
- In August, we hit our most impactful month to date with 2,402 intercepts! That was the third month in a row achieving over 2,000 intercepts in a single month—a feat never accomplished before this year!
- Together, we hit a record 70,000 intercepts since beginning our transit monitoring work in 2006!
- As we continued in the upward trajectory of exponential growth regarding the number of people we were able to intercept, these numbers surpassed our predictions from last year!
- Our impact on the dollar dropped from an average of $201 last year to just $132 this year. That’s the total cost—all overhead expenses included—to intercept one person to keep them from being trafficked. That means that we’ve figured out how to impact more people for less money, making your dollars go even further in the fight against injustice and contributing to our exponential growth in impact!
ARRESTS
- Our teams around the world assisted in arresting 244 suspects, working with law enforcement to ensure that traffickers face consequences for their crimes.
- Since our beginning, we’ve assisted in arresting 1,675 suspects. This year alone, arrests increased by 37% compared to last year!
EXPANSIONS
- Although we closed some stations that were no longer bearing fruit, this paved the way for us to open 11 new transit monitoring stations!
- Kenya’s impact grew like wildfire this year, hitting a record-breaking 627 intercepts in July. It’s worth noting that this surge came after the team there committed themselves to weekly fasting and prayer, asking God to give them 300 intercepts in a single month—how like our God to respond to their faith by doubling that number! Check out this team’s faith in action even before this surge in impact.
- Teams around the world expanded their efforts in sharing the gospel, resulting in 12,500 people hearing the gospel through our work and a total of 690 people professing faith in Jesus Christ. Last year, the average number of professions of faith was about 36 per month—this year that number grew to 58 per month, a 61% increase!
DATA FROM THE FIELD
OUR SCHOOL
- This year, 225 children, including 50 new students, were enrolled in our school.
- We launched our first Student Council and student band, offering more leadership and music learning opportunities.
- Teachers and students participated in a variety of school programs and events, including a Justice Camp and Dental Camp along with the Winter Mela, the Junior Olympics, Spirit and Safety Week, and after-school sports—promoting health, fun, learning, and a deeper sense of community.
FAMILY HOMES
- Our 15 family homes cared for 180 orphaned and abandoned children.
- Eight students successfully graduated from our program, meaning that they have earned a bachelor’s degree or vocational certificate, live independently on their own, and no longer receive any financial support from LJI. This brings the total number of graduates to 25!
- The transition program cared for 77 children and young adults between 11th grade and their 4th year of a bachelor’s program or vocational school equivalent, offering guidance and support as they transition into adulthood. Meet two of them in our previous blog!

There is so much to be thankful for this year! God has been so good and so faithful. We hope these victorious numbers and records bring you as much joy as they bring us. 
Every donation and prayer has culminated in thousands of lives free today, hundreds of children cared for and educated, and hundreds of people putting their faith in Jesus Christ. This is certainly worth celebrating!
